The Nursery

The very first thing that parents should consider is the over-all look and set-up of the nursery interiors. For the baby to sleep in crib, parents will have to ensure that their baby's sleeping area is designed to be conducive for sleeping. Especially for the first-timers, designing a nursery room is quite a challenge. Aside from putting in some decals and baby stuffs, the best and easiest thing to execute is to make do with flowing curtains that are able to give shade for the babies during their sleep and at the same time, be able to bring in some light during daytime. A translucent curtain cloth is best to use for nursery rooms.

On the other hand, nursery rooms should be set up in such a way that it is very much away from distractions such as television, radio, people chatting, dogs barking and many others. These are just some of the very basic factors that parents must consider aside from the physical set-up of the nursery room so as to put the baby to sleep in a crib.

Bed or Nap Time for Baby

Putting the baby to sleep in crib for bed for nap time has many factors to be considered by parents. There are times that for the whole twenty-four hours a day, majority of that will be the sleeping time of the newborn baby. And as the baby grows older, there will be much lesser time he or she will need for bed time or nap time. For a one-year old baby, there is an approximately 12-14 hours night and day time sleep.

For example, a baby will sleep from 7 p.m. at night until 7 a.m. in the morning. During the day when he or she is already awake, only one or two naps may be required and those naps may only be around an hour for each nap. So putting the baby to sleep in crib at daytime should be given full attention since as parents, you would want to check out your baby's sleeping patterns for he or she might require more or less than what he or she actually needs.
